In Monday's non-league contest, the host Willis Wildkats basketball team scored a good 62-42 triumph over the Porter Spartans.

The Wildkats (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Paetow (Katy, TX). The Panthers go into the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Paetow was toppled by Fort Bend Bush (Richmond, TX), 58-57, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Spartans confront the Conroe Tigers (Conroe, TX) in a non-league contest, on Friday, November 15. Porter will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 1-1 record after their 49-37 non-league win over Magnolia (Magnolia, TX).
