North Carolina High School Basketball - Queen's Grant tops Bradford Prep

December 17, 2021: Matthews, NC 28105

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Queen's Grant Stallions (Matthews, NC) and the visiting Bradford Prep Bears (Charlotte, NC), saw Queen's Grant's basketball squad knock off Bradford Prep by a tally of 63-50.

With the victory, Queen's Grant improves its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Stallions travel to Cabarrus Charter (Concord, NC) to play the Huskies in a 1A Conference 38 challenge on Tuesday, January 4. The Huskies come into the challenge with a record of 0-4. Cabarrus Charter lost 55-44 in their recent non-league challenge against Langtree Charter (Mooresville, NC)

Next up, the Bears play the Rockwell Christian School Chargers (Rockwell, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 20. Bradford Prep will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record. The Chargers come into the challenge with a 10-5 record after their 51-42 league win over Woodland Baptist Christian (Winston-Salem, NC).
