Texas High School Basketball - Katy can't hold off George Ranch
November 12, 2022: Katy, TX 77494 The George Ranch Longhorns basketball team scored 53 points and held the host Katy Tigers to 49 in the Longhorns non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Longhorns now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Manvel for a non-league contest on Monday, November 14. George Ranch will battle a Mavericks team coming off a 55-43 non-league win over Fort Bend Clements (Sugar Land, TX). The Mavericks record now stands at 1-0.
The Tigers (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Sharpstown (Houston, TX). The Apollos enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Sharpstown was nudged by Lamar (Houston, TX), 80-56, in a non-league contest.
