Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the North Central Thunderbirds (Farmersburg, IN) and the visiting Clay City Eels (Clay City, IN), saw North Central's basketball squad overcome Clay City by a tally of 61-49.

With the victory, North Central improves its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Thunderbirds travel to North Knox (Bicknell, IN) to confront the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Monday, November 28. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 4-0.

Next up, the Eels confront the Shakamak Lakers (Jasonville, IN) in a Southwestern Indiana challenge, on Tuesday, November 15. Clay City will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Lakers come into the challenge with a 5-1 record after their 49-10 non-league win over Cloverdale (Cloverdale, IN).
