November 12, 2024: Newton, GA 39870 The Southland Academy Raiders (Americus, GA) basketball were winner over the host Baker County Bears (Newton, GA), 42-22 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Raiders now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Crisp Academy for a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 19. Southland Academy will play a Wildcats team coming off a 43-28 non-league win over Southwest Georgia STEM Charter (Shellman, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Baker County falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Valwood (Valdosta, GA) to play the Valiants in a non-league bout on Thursday, November 14.
