Alabama High School Basketball - Wenonah crushes Bessemer City
November 13, 2023: Bessemer, AL 35022 Wenonah Dragons (Birmingham, AL) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Bessemer City Tigers (Bessemer, AL), 96-37 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Wenonah upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Dragons host Center Point (Birmingham, AL) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Thursday, November 16. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Center Point lost 62-61 in their recent non-league bout against Minor (Adamsville, AL)
Next up, the Tigers play the Pelham Panthers (Pelham, AL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, November 16. Bessemer City will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 54-49 non-league win over Chelsea (Chelsea, AL).
