Howard Huskies (Macon, GA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Upson-Lee Knights (Thomaston, GA), 57-50 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Howard upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Huskies travel to Rutland (Macon, GA) to play the Hurricanes in a non-league bout on Wednesday, November 15. The Hurricanes go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Knights play the Mitchell County Eagles (Camilla, GA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, November 18. Upson-Lee will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
