November 14, 2023: Jackson, MS 39204 In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Jim Hill Tigers (Jackson, MS) basketball squad edged the visiting McComb Tigers (McComb, MS), by a margin of 58-55.
The Tigers (1-2) will now prepare for their outing against Pearl (Pearl, MS). The Pirates go into the non-league outing with a 3-1 record. In their last outing, Pearl was tipped by Newton County (Decatur, MS), 80-77, in a non-league outing.
The Tigers now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Lawrence County for a 4A Region 7 bout on Friday, November 17. McComb will play a Cougars squad coming off a 53-49 league loss to Natchez (Natchez, MS). The Cougars record now stands at 1-2.
