November 14, 2023: Myrtle, MS 38650 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Blue Mountain Cougars (Blue Mountain, MS) and the host Myrtle Hawks (Myrtle, MS), saw Blue Mountain's basketball squad wallop Myrtle by a tally of 61-16.
With the victory, Blue Mountain improves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to East Union (Blue Springs, MS) to play the Urchins in a non-league challenge on Thursday, November 16. The Urchins come into the challenge with a record of 3-0. East Union won 69-27 in their recent non-league challenge against Smithville (Smithville, MS)
Next up, the Hawks play the Mantachie Mustangs (Mantachie, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, November 16. Myrtle will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 50-23 non-league win over Mooreville (Mooreville, MS).
