Myrtle Hawks (Myrtle, MS) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Hickory Flat Rebels (Hickory Flat, MS), 45-31 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Myrtle upgrades its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Hawks host Ingomar (New Albany, MS) to confront the Falcons in a non-league battle on Friday, December 1. The Falcons come into the battle with a record of 8-1. Ingomar lost 49-40 in their recent non-league battle against Blue Mountain (Blue Mountain, MS)
