Mississippi High School Basketball - Kosciusko tops Humphreys County
November 14, 2023: Belzoni, MS 39038 Kosciusko Whippets (Kosciusko, MS) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Humphreys County Cowboys (Belzoni, MS), 38-30 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Kosciusko upgrades its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Whippets host Columbus (Columbus, MS) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Saturday, November 18. The Falcons come into the bout with a record of 0-5. Columbus lost 46-32 in their recent non-league bout against Starkville (Starkville, MS)
Next up, the Cowboys play the West Bolivar Eagles (Rosedale, MS) in a non-league bout, on Friday, November 17. Humphreys County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 48-11 non-league loss to Charleston (Charleston, MS).
