Arkansas High School Basketball - Brookland holds off Riverside
November 14, 2024: Brookland, AR 72417 The Brookland Bearcats basketball team scored 39 points and limited the visiting Riverside Rebels to 38 in the Bearcats non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Bearcats now have a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to Greene County Tech for a non-league game on Monday, November 18. Brookland will confront a Golden Eagles team coming off a 62-50 non-league win over Earle (Earle, AR). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 2-0.
With the loss, Riverside falls to 5-2 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Buffalo Island Central (Monette, AR) to confront the Mustangs in a 2A Region 3 game on Monday, November 18. The Mustangs go into the game with a record of 1-5. Buffalo Island Central lost 34-31 in their recent non-league game against Salem (Salem, AR)
