In Friday's non-league contest, the host Cornerstone Charter Cardinals basketball team scored a big 63-16 triumph over the Central Carolina Academy Eagles.

The Cardinals (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Chatham Charter (Siler City, NC). The Knights go into the non-league contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Chatham Charter was trounced by NCSSM: Durham (Durham, NC), 54-50, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Eagles confront the Neuse Charter Cougars (Smithfield, NC) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, November 18.
