The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Churchill Lancers (Eugene, OR) and the host Thurston Colts (Springfield, OR), witnessed Churchill's football squad knock off Thurston by a final score of 33-23.

With the win, Churchill advances its record to 8-3 on the season. The Lancers travel to Summit (Bend, OR) to encounter the Storm in a non-league bout on Friday, November 21. The Storm go into the bout with a record of 11-0. Summit won 14-13 in their recent non-league bout against West Albany (Albany, OR)

The Colts now own a 9-2 record.
