California High School Basketball - Barstow knocked off by Desert

The Desert Scorpions basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Barstow Aztecs to 32 in the Scorpions non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Scorpions now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Highland for a non-league contest on Wednesday, November 16. Desert will meet a Scots team coming off a 43-36 non-league win over Wasco (Wasco, CA). The Scots record now stands at 1-0.

The Aztecs (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against California City (California City, CA). The Ravens enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, California City was outscored by Wasco (Wasco, CA), 60-44, in a non-league contest.
