Texas High School Basketball - Bland nips Farmersville
November 15, 2022: Merit, TX 75458 Bland Tigers (Merit, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Farmersville Farmers (Farmersville, TX), 51-47 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Bland upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Tigers host Yantis (Yantis, TX) to play the Owls in a non-league bout on Thursday, November 17. The Owls come into the bout with a record of 1-1. Yantis lost 74-65 in their recent non-league bout against Campbell (Campbell, TX)
Next up, the Farmers play the Gunter Tigers (Gunter, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, November 18. Farmersville will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 65-46 non-league win over Community (Nevada, TX).
