November 15, 2022: Goldsboro, NC 27530 Wayne Country Day Chargers (Goldsboro, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Wayne Preparatory Academy Generals (Goldsboro, NC), 78-7 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Wayne Country Day upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Chargers host The Burlington School (Burlington, NC) to clash with the Spartans in a non-league bout on Friday, November 18. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 1-0. The Burlington School won 77-9 in their recent non-league bout against Salem Baptist Christian (Winston-Salem, NC)
Next up, the Generals clash with the Living Water Christian Warriors (Jacksonville, NC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, November 17. Wayne Preparatory Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
