The Incarnate Word Academy Angels (Corpus Christi, TX) basketball crushed the visiting Mathis Pirates (Mathis, TX), 74-38 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Angels now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Saint Mary's Hall for a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 19. Incarnate Word Academy will play a Barons team coming off a 57-36 non-league loss to Holmes (San Antonio, TX). The Barons record now stands at 0-5.
