Indiana High School Basketball - North Newton triumphant over River Forest

The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the North Newton Spartans (Morocco, IN) and the visiting River Forest Ingots (Hobart, IN), witnessed North Newton's basketball squad rout River Forest by a count of 46-23.

With the victory, North Newton advances its record to 2-2 on the year. The Spartans host Hanover Central (Cedar Lake, IN) to meet the Wildcats in a non-league battle on Saturday, November 22. The Wildcats enter the contest with a record of 1-2.

In their next game, the Ingots battle the Gary West Side Cougars (Gary, IN) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, November 18. River Forest will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record. The Cougars come into the contest with a 1-0 record after their 48-10 non-league win over Bowman Academy (Gary, IN).
