In Tuesday's non-league bout, the visiting Center Roughriders basketball squad scored a nice 49-39 win over the Gary Bobcats.

With the win, Center upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Roughriders travel to Garrison (Garrison, TX) to meet the Bulldogs in a non-league contest on Friday, November 19. The Bulldogs enter the contest with a record of 1-2. Garrison lost 46-43 in their recent non-league contest against Cumberland Academy (Tyler, TX)

The Bobcats (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Timpson (Timpson, TX). The Bears enter the 2A Region III District 23 contest with a 1-0 record.
