The New Iberia Yellowjackets basketball team scored 75 points and restricted the visiting A.J. Ellender Patriots to 40 in the Yellowjackets non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Yellowjackets now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ponchatoula for a non-league contest on Monday, November 21.

The Patriots (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Thibodaux (Thibodaux, LA). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
