February 24, 2023: Houma, LA 70363 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Opelousas Tigers (Opelousas, LA) and the host A.J. Ellender Patriots (Houma, LA), saw Opelousas's basketball squad hold off A.J. Ellender by a tally of 55-51.
With the victory, Opelousas improves its record to 8-10 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Bossier (Bossier City, LA) to play the Bearkats in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 28. The Bearkats come into the challenge with a record of 18-10. Bossier lost 72-56 in their recent non-league challenge against Calvary Baptist Academy (Shreveport, LA)
