Mammoth Spring Bears (Mammoth Spring, AR) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Hillcrest Screamin Eagles (Strawberry, AR), 72-40 in a league bout.

With the victory, Mammoth Spring upgrades its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Bears host Crowley's Ridge Academy (Paragould, AR) to play the Falcons in a 1A Region 3 bout on Thursday, November 17. The Falcons come into the bout with a record of 0-6. Crowley's Ridge Academy lost 63-52 in their recent league bout against Armorel (Armorel, AR)

Next up, the Screamin Eagles play the Harrisburg Hornets (Harrisburg, AR) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 6. Hillcrest will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record.
