The Winston-Salem Christian Lions basketball team scored 75 points and held the visiting Carlisle Chiefs to 65 in the Lions non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Lions now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Oak Ridge Military Academy for a CAASC Greater Piedmont contest on Monday, November 20. Winston-Salem Christian will meet a Eagles team coming off a 64-42 non-league win over Mount Zion Christian Academy (Durham, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 6-2.
The Chiefs (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Calvary Day School (Winston-Salem, NC). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Calvary Day School ran past GRACE Christian (Raleigh, NC), 63-54, in a non-league contest.
