Texas High School Basketball - Midway can't hold off Tompkins
November 16, 2023: Katy, TX 77494 The Tompkins Falcons basketball team scored 76 points and restricted the visiting Midway Panthers to 74 in the Falcons non-league victory on Thursday.
The Falcons now sport a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Alief Taylor for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 21. Tompkins will battle a Lions team coming off a 38-36 non-league loss to Mansfield Timberview (Arlington, TX). The Lions record now stands at 1-3.
The Panthers (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against South Grand Prairie (Grand Prairie, TX). The Warriors come into the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, South Grand Prairie edged Keller (Keller, TX), 67-58, in a non-league contest.
