Mississippi High School Basketball - Yazoo City tops Murrah
November 16, 2023: Jackson, MS 39202 Yazoo City Indians (Yazoo City, MS) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Murrah Mustangs (Jackson, MS), 74-55 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Yazoo City upgrades its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Indians host Pinson Valley (Pinson, AL) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Friday, November 24. The Indians come into the bout with a record of 4-0.
Next up, the Mustangs play the Port Gibson Blue Waves (Port Gibson, MS) in a non-league bout, on Friday, November 17. Murrah will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record.
