Mississippi High School Basketball - Yazoo City can't hold off Clinton
December 23, 2023: Clinton, MS 39056 The Clinton Arrows basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Yazoo City Indians to 53 in the Arrows non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Arrows now sport a 11-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Lauderdale for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 28. Clinton will battle a Knights team coming off a 74-45 non-league win over Scott Central (Forest, MS). The Knights record now stands at 13-1.
The Indians (12-2) will now prepare for their contest against Greenville (Greenville, MS). The Hornets enter the 5A Region 2 contest with a 6-6 record. In their last contest, Greenville was nudged by Greenwood (Greenwood, MS), 60-36, in a non-league contest.
