Tri-Point Chargers (Cullom, IL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Armstrong Trojans (Armstrong, IL), 50-39 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Tri-Point upgrades its record to 1-2 on the season. The Chargers travel to Clifton Central (Clifton, IL) to clash with the Comets in a non-league bout on Saturday, November 18. The Comets go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Clifton Central lost 43-7 in their recent non-league bout against Cissna Park (Cissna Park, IL)

Next up, the Trojans clash with the Fisher Bunnies (Fisher, IL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, November 27. Armstrong will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
