Arkansas High School Basketball - Manila thwarts Bay
November 16, 2023: Manila, AR 72442 The Manila Lions (Manila, AR) basketball knocked off the visiting Bay Yellowjackets (Bay, AR), 50-41 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Lions (2-0) will now prepare for their test against Highland (Hardy, AR). The Rebels go into the non-league test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, Highland went down by Greene County Tech (Paragould, AR), 62-33, in a non-league test.
The Yellowjackets now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to Jasper for a non-league test on Monday, November 20. Bay will encounter a Pirates squad coming off a 78-48 non-league loss to Bergman (Bergman, AR). The Pirates record now stands at 5-2.
