Arkansas High School Basketball - Cave City overwhelms Viola
November 16, 2023: Cave City, AR 72521 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Cave City Cavemen (Cave City, AR) and the visiting Viola Longhorns (Viola, AR), saw Cave City's basketball squad wallop Viola by a count of 55-29.
With the victory, Cave City upgrades its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Cavemen travel to Cedar Ridge (Newark, AR) to play the Timberwolves in a non-league challenge on Monday, November 20. The Timberwolves come into the challenge with a record of 3-1. Cedar Ridge lost 51-48 in their recent non-league challenge against Tuckerman (Tuckerman, AR)
Next up, the Longhorns play the Concord Pirates (Concord, AR) in a 1A Region 2 challenge, on Friday, November 17. Viola will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 9-1 record after their 60-44 league win over Calico Rock (Calico Rock, AR).
