Arkansas High School Basketball - Highland overwhelms Viola
December 11, 2023: Hardy, AR 72542 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Highland Rebels (Hardy, AR) and the visiting Viola Longhorns (Viola, AR), saw Highland's basketball squad wallop Viola by a tally of 53-28.
With the victory, Highland improves its record to 2-6 on the campaign. The Rebels host Wynne (Wynne, AR) to confront the Yellowjackets in a 4A Region 3 challenge on Tuesday, December 12. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a record of 7-6. Wynne lost 51-39 in their recent league challenge against Westside (Jonesboro, AR)
Next up, the Longhorns confront the West Side Eagles (Greers Ferry, AR) in a 1A Region 2 challenge, on Tuesday, December 12. Viola will attempt to improve on its 3-11 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 4-9 record after their 44-27 non-league loss to Tuckerman (Tuckerman, AR).
