November 16, 2023: Springer, NM 87747 The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Gateway Christian Warriors (Roswell, NM) and the host Springer Red Devils (Springer, NM), saw Gateway Christian's volleyball squad beat Springer by a tally of 3-1.
With the win, Gateway Christian upgrades its record to 21-3 on the year. The Warriors travel to Melrose (Melrose, NM) to play the Buffaloes in a non-league bout on Friday, November 17. The Buffaloes go into the bout with a record of 21-3. Melrose won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Mesilla Valley Christian School (Las Cruces, NM)
The Red Devils now own a 20-5 record. They play next when they travel to Grady for a non-league bout on Friday, November 17. Springer will play a Bronchos squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Roy/Mosquero (Roy, NM). The Bronchos record now stands at 13-11.
