Iron Academy Swordsmen (Raleigh, NC) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Commission Leadership Academy Griffins (Youngsville, NC), 50-40 in a league bout.

With the win, Iron Academy upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Swordsmen travel to Mitchener University Academy (Selma, NC) to clash with the Tigers in a CAASC Central Carolina - West bout on Tuesday, November 29. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Griffins clash with the Iron Academy Swordsmen (Raleigh, NC) in a CAASC Triangle bout, on Thursday, December 8. Commission Leadership Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
