Texas High School Basketball - John Paul II can't hold off Independence
November 17, 2022: Frisco, TX 75035 The Independence Knights basketball team scored 76 points and held the visiting John Paul II Cardinals to 72 in the Knights non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Knights now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Guyer for a non-league contest on Friday, November 18. Independence will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 67-41 non-league win over Dunbar (Fort Worth, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-0.
The Cardinals (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Dunbar (Fort Worth, TX). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 0-5 record. In their last contest, Dunbar was nudged by Guyer (Denton, TX), 67-41, in a non-league contest.
