North Sand Mountain Bison (Higdon, AL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting St. Andrews-Sewanee Mountain Lions (Sewanee, TN), 77-18 in a non-league bout.

With the win, North Sand Mountain upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Bison travel to North Jackson (Stevenson, AL) to clash with the Chiefs in a non-league bout on Friday, November 18. The Chiefs go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Mountain Lions clash with the Berean Academy Eagle (Hixson, TN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 29. St. Andrews-Sewanee will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
