Texas High School Basketball - De Leon overwhelmed by Cross Plains
November 17, 2022: De Leon, TX 76444 The Cross Plains Buffaloes basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the host De Leon Bearcats to 28 in the Buffaloes non-league victory on Thursday.
The Buffaloes now sport a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Zephyr for a non-league contest on Thursday, November 17. Cross Plains will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 30-29 non-league loss to Brookesmith (Brookesmith, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-1.
The Bearcats (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Meridian (Meridian, TX). The Yellowjackets come into the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Meridian was routed by Frost (Frost, TX), 48-28, in a non-league contest.
