The Chisum Mustangs basketball team scored 74 points and held the visiting Saltillo Lions to 57 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Friday.

The Mustangs now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rivercrest for a non-league contest on Saturday, November 18. Chisum will battle a Rebels team coming off a 63-45 non-league loss to Sulphur Bluff (Sulphur Bluff, TX). The Rebels record now stands at 0-1.
