November 17, 2023: Malakoff, TX 75148 Latexo Tigers (Latexo, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Cross Roads Bobcats (Malakoff, TX), 46-42 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Latexo upgrades its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Tigers host Neches (Neches, TX) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Monday, November 20. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 3-1. Neches won 60-39 in their recent non-league bout against Arp (Arp, TX)
Next up, the Bobcats play the Fruitvale Bobcats (Fruitvale, TX) in a non-league bout, on Monday, November 20. Cross Roads will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Bobcats go into the test with a 1-2 record after their 45-39 non-league win over Pioneer Technology & Arts Academy (Greenville, TX).
