In Friday's non-league outing, the Springdale Prep Lions (New Windsor, MD) basketball squad overwhelmed the host McLean (Potomac, MD), by a margin of 58-21.

The Lions (1-0) will now prepare for their outing against National Christian Academy (Fort Washington, MD). The Eagles go into the Metro Private outing with a 0-1 record. In their last outing, National Christian Academy was trounced by King's Christian Academy (Callaway, MD), 83-76, in a non-league outing.

The now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Smith Jewish Day School for a Potomac Valley outing on Thursday, November 30. McLean will clash with a Lions squad coming off a 87-76 league loss to Avalon (Wheaton, MD). The Lions record now stands at 0-1.
