Mississippi High School Basketball - Petal tipped by West Harrison
November 17, 2023: Petal, MS 39465 The West Harrison Hurricanes basketball team scored 39 points and held the host Petal Panthers to 36 in the Hurricanes non-league triumph on Friday.
The Hurricanes now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to D'Iberville for a non-league contest on Monday, November 20. West Harrison will meet a Warriors team coming off a 59-36 non-league loss to Presbyterian Christian (Hattiesburg, MS). The Warriors record now stands at 3-3.
The Panthers (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against Greene County (Leakesville, MS). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 1-4 record. In their last contest, Greene County was nudged by Wayne County (Waynesboro, MS), 55-43, in a non-league game.
