The Ruston Bearcats (Ruston, LA) football edged the host Westgate Tigers (New Iberia, LA), 20-18 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Bearcats face the Walker Wildcats (Walker, LA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, November 24. Ruston will attempt to move on its 10-1 season record. The Wildcats enter the bout with a 10-2 record after their 28-2 non-league win over Northshore (Slidell, LA).
