In Friday's non-league match, the host Freedom Patriots basketball team scored a decisive 68-5 triumph over the Patton Panthers.

In their next game, the Patriots face the East Burke Cavaliers (Connelly Springs, NC) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, November 21. Freedom will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Cavaliers enter the match with a 1-0 record after their 62-33 non-league win over South Caldwell (Hudson, NC).
