November 17, 2023: Hallettsville, TX 77964 Hallettsville Brahmas (Hallettsville, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Poth Pirates (Poth, TX), 46-35 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Hallettsville upgrades its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Brahmas host Shiner (Shiner, TX) to play the Comanches in a non-league bout on Monday, November 20. The Comanches come into the bout with a record of 2-0. Shiner won 50-47 in their recent non-league bout against La Grange (La Grange, TX)
Next up, the Pirates play the Skidmore-Tynan Bobcats (Skidmore, TX) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, November 18. Poth will attempt to upgrade on its 5-1 season record. The Bobcats come into the bout with a 5-1 record after their 50-32 non-league loss to Jourdanton (Jourdanton, TX).
