November 17, 2023: Marion, NC 28752 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the New Manna Christian Wind (Marion, NC) and the visiting Union Grove Christian Patriots (Lexington, NC), saw New Manna Christian's basketball squad hold off Union Grove Christian by a tally of 60-56.
With the victory, New Manna Christian improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Wind host Victory Christian (Sylva, NC) to confront the Cardinals in a NCCSA A West Region 1 challenge on Tuesday, November 28. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 4-3. Victory Christian lost 42-33 in their recent league challenge against Southview Christian (Statesville, NC)
Next up, the Patriots confront the Veritas Christian Academy Warriors (Arden, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, November 18. Union Grove Christian will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 48-39 league win over Pinnacle Classical Academy (Shelby, NC).
