The Quitman Panthers routed the visiting Newton County Cougars basketball team by a final score of 62-27 in Friday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Panthers face the South Jones Braves (Ellisville, MS) in a non-league game, on Monday, November 20. Quitman will attempt to move on its 3-0 season record.
