November 17, 2023: Gainesville, TX 76240 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Callisburg Wildcats (Gainesville, TX) and the visiting Sanger Indians (Sanger, TX), saw Callisburg's basketball squad hold off Sanger by a tally of 44-38.
With the victory, Callisburg improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Era (Era, TX) to play the Hornets in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, November 28. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Indians play the Graham Steers (Graham, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, November 21. Sanger will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record.
