North Carolina High School Basketball - Covenant Day thwarts Forsyth Country Day
November 17, 2023: Lewisville, NC 27023 The Covenant Day Lions (Matthews, NC) basketball knocked off the host Forsyth Country Day Furies (Lewisville, NC), 61-51 in Friday's non-league test.
The Lions (2-0) will now prepare for their test against North Raleigh Christian Academy (Raleigh, NC). The Knights go into the non-league test with a 2-0 record. In their last test, North Raleigh Christian Academy notched a victory over Metrolina Christian Academy (Indian Trail, NC), 47-34, in a non-league test.
The Furies now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to GRACE Christian for a non-league test on Friday, December 8.
