North Carolina High School Basketball - Cannon overwhelmed by Covenant Day
January 10, 2024: Concord, NC 28027 The Covenant Day Lions basketball team scored 68 points and restricted the host Cannon Cougars to 42 in the Lions non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Lions now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Providence Day for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 16. Covenant Day will battle a Chargers team coming off a 55-34 league win over Charlotte Christian (Charlotte, NC). The Chargers record now stands at 7-3.
The Cougars (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Providence Day (Charlotte, NC). The Chargers come into the non-league contest with a 7-3 record.
