November 18, 2021: Verbena, AL 36091 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Holtville Bulldogs (Deatsville, AL) and the host Verbena Red Devils (Verbena, AL), saw Holtville's basketball squad wallop Verbena by a count of 73-46.
With the victory, Holtville upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Wetumpka (Wetumpka, AL) to play the Indians in a non-league challenge on Friday, November 19. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 2-0. Wetumpka won 73-34 in their recent non-league challenge against Beauregard (Opelika, AL)
Next up, the Red Devils play the Fayetteville Wolves (Sylacauga, AL) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, November 30. Verbena will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Wolves come into the battle with a 2-1 record after their 64-31 non-league win over Victory Christian (Pell City, AL).
