Texas High School Basketball - John Paul II topped by Anderson
November 18, 2022: Austin, TX 78759 The Anderson Trojans basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the visiting John Paul II Guardians to 40 in the Trojans non-league victory on Friday.
The Trojans now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Steele for a non-league contest on Saturday, November 19. Anderson will battle a Knights team coming off a 56-43 non-league loss to DeSoto (DeSoto, TX). The Knights record now stands at 3-2.
The Guardians (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Shoemaker (Killeen, TX). The Wolves come into the non-league contest with a 1-5 record. In their last contest, Shoemaker was defeated by Lake Travis (Austin, TX), 55-37, in a non-league contest.
